I feel like I would be doing the world a great disservice if I did not share this with people.
Ok.
I went into the a local store in my neighborhood (sorry for the redundancy there...maybe I should have just edited it out, instead of putting in an apology?) and, bought pasta. I bought a brand called "Tat," as it was very inexpensive. Here are the instructions on the label. (For your pleasure, I have preserved the punctuation and capitalization on the label exactly):
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:
--Pour 3 Lt. of water into the saucepan and leave it to boil.(12 Glass)--Once the water has boiled, add a sufficient quantity of salt and one soup-spoon Of liquid oil.
--Discharge 500 gr. Macaroni in the saucepan and cook it for 9 minutes on intense fire by keeping the saucepan open and stir it by the time of time.(For Italian type live macaroni 7 minutes will be sufficient)
--Then strain and wash with a glass of cold water.
--After the additon of butter, margarine or sauce, serve ,it hot.
I hope you have enjoyed reading this. Remember to add liquid, not solid, oil.
